The different faces of the Golden Mile

The best-known and most obvious part of the Golden Mile is the six-kilometre long palm-lined avenue that extends from Marbella town to Puerto Banús. Rocío de Nagüeles is the first of these, a peaceful villa suburb that was one of the first places where the original jet-set chose to build villas in-between the cover of pine trees. Set a little higher up, Nagüeles enjoys magnificent views across the Golden Mile to the sea. The upper part of the Golden Mile is Sierra Blanca, a gated villa suburb with a small collection of exclusive apartment and designer townhouse complexes that finds itself at the base of Marbella’s La Concha Mountain. Cascada de Camoján is a gated community within a gated community; a small collection of beautiful villas on large plots tucked into a very private and scenic corner on the eastside of Sierra Blanca. It boasts some of the most beautiful properties in Marbella, with views to match and the luxury of bordering a protected natural area that offers wonderful landscapes and hiking trails.
